David Seaton

David worked as a DSP from 1978-1982 while earning his is degree from the University of Texas, and subsequently completed his graduate studies at the UT Health Science Center in Rehabilitation Counseling in 1984. David has been President of the Seaton Foundation, since 1986, which provides education and training programs in LifeLong Living for professionals and organizations working with individuals with cognitive disabilities. He is the Founder/President of LiveOak Living Community, since 2002, which operates person-centered, LifeLong Living residential programs in and near San Marcos, Texas for adults with cognitive disabilities.

Rachel Medina

Rachel Medina is the Director of the Seaton Foundation and the Director of Resident Services at LiveOak Living Community. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Master’s in Psychological Research from Texas State University. After graduation, Rachel chose to focus her career on improving the quality of life of individuals affected by brain injury, mental illness, and other cognitive disabilities. Her latest project is the Learning Community for Cognitive Disabilities, a program committed to teaching and developing the next generation of caregivers and leaders in long-term care through education, training, research, and internships.
